This document defines all the rules for the popular vote and the criteria that govern user participation in the Otaku Saver Awards. It ensures transparency, organization, and security throughout the entire process.
1. General Structure of the Voting Process
The Otaku Saver Anime Awards adopts a hybrid model comprised of public voting , evaluation by a specialized jury , and internal verification , with defined weights and stages to guarantee credibility, transparency, and impartiality. Voting is conducted exclusively online, within the dates established annually.
1.1. System Components
- Popular Vote: Represents the engagement of the Brazilian otaku audience, accounting for 50% of the final result .
- Specialized Jury: A group comprised of professionals, communicators, critics, and official guests, representing 50% of the final result .
- Internal Audit: The Otaku Saver team reviews the numbers, eliminates irregular votes, and validates the results before publication.
In the event of a tie, the vote of the Specialized Jury has decisive weight.
2. Official Voting Process
2.1. Announcement of Nominees
- The list of nominees is officially announced on the Otaku Saver website and social media channels.
- The nominees are selected based on technical criteria, internal analysis, and monitoring of the year's releases.
2.2. Voting Period
- Voting is open to the public via a dedicated form on the website.
- Each category allows only one submission per person (email, IP, or internal tracking); multiple submissions are prohibited.
2.3. Closure and Verification
After the voting ends:
- The system undergoes internal auditing to identify inconsistencies.
- Duplicate, automated, or fraudulent votes are removed.
- The jury will send the final scores within the established deadline.
2.4. Consolidation of Results
The final tally takes into account:
- Popular Rating (0–100)
- Jury Score (0–100)
The weighted average determines the winner.
2.5. Announcement of Winners
The winner of Anime of the Year also receives an exclusive official artwork .
The winners are announced at the Official Otaku Saver Anime Awards Ceremony.
Each winner receives a digital certificate and is featured on the website.
